Who is Sergei Zverev
Zverev Sergey Anatolyevich was born on July 19, 1963. Field of activity: stylist, hairstyle designer, makeup artist, TV presenter, singer. Childhood and youth
Sergei was born near Irkutsk in the village of Guzhiry, the youngest son in the family. Father, Anatoly Andreevich Zverev, worked at the Avtovneshtrans enterprise as a mechanic, was drawn to music and played the accordion and button accordion well. Mom, Zvereva Valentina Timofeevna, worked as a technologist at a meat processing plant.
Grandfather, Andrei Zverev, was a war veteran who reached the Reichstag. The elder brother Alexander died at the age of 29, as he worked in hazardous industrial production and fell ill with asthma. In memory of his father and brother, the stylist subsequently created hairstyles that he signed “A”.
In 1966, Seryozha was enrolled in a kindergarten in the village of Kultuk, opened specifically for the children of employees of the enterprise where his father worked. Three years later, Anatoly Andreevich Zverev died tragically in a car accident (he was riding a motorcycle and collided with a car), and was buried in his homeland, in Guzhiri. Soon the artist’s grandfather also died. This is a very sad period in Sergei’s biography. He only has vivid childhood memories: motorcycle trips with his father from kindergarten and picking berries in the forest with the whole family.
Valentina Timofeevna remarried a year and a half later, and then together with her husband and sons she moved to Ust-Kamenogorsk (Republic of Kazakhstan). The boy entered a city school, but he and his family soon had to return to Guzhiry, so the future star’s primary education continued in a rural educational institution. Later, the move to Ust-Kamenogorsk took place again, and Sergei graduated from school in this city.
Mom was an unquestioning authority, she and her son were very close. Valentina Timofeevna's fate was quite difficult; she was brought up in an orphanage. This difficult period strengthened her character, taught her discipline and hard work. The woman tried to instill such qualities in her sons. Sergei claims that thanks to his mother’s upbringing, he was able to become a successful person, learned to accurately follow a given plan and achieve his goals.
Even as a child, he made progress in tailoring, which was quite unusual for a guy. After school, he entered a vocational school in three specialties at once: makeup, hairdressing and fashion design.
However, not everything went smoothly; I was able to start my studies only after three years. They didn’t want to accept the guy into women’s specialties. Already from his first year, he distinguished himself, participated in various competitions, winning prizes and awards. The student led an active social life at school, which attracted a lot of attention.
Sergei served in the army in Poland (air defense forces). With the rank of senior sergeant, he was deputy platoon commander and secretary of the Komsomol organization. Army life did not in any way affect the desire for a creative profession, and after completing his service, Sergei continued to do what he loved.
Career
Sergei began his career as a stylist and hairstyle designer by working in small hairdressing salons. His first “star” client was Tatyana Vedeneeva. Then the stylist helped Laima Vaikule, Bogdan Titomir, Valery Leontyev and Boris Moiseev acquire a new look. I met Diva when I worked in the salon of Dolores Kondrashova.
The coach of the USSR national hairdressing team noticed the young specialist at one of the competitions and, impressed by the talent of the stylist, invited him to work in a Moscow beauty salon. At first, Sergei refused the offer, but after the incident in Ust-Kamenogorsk (Zverev was beaten), he nevertheless agreed to move to the capital.
Sergey is the winner of many awards in hairdressing.
Most important achievements:
- European vice-champion and Grand Prix winner in many countries of the world (1996);
- absolute European champion (1997);
- world champion (1998).
In Moscow, the young hairdresser gained fame. Information about the master with “golden hands” spread like lightning throughout the capital and its environs. Lines of celebrities and simply wealthy people flocked to the salon.
The talented master worked with many famous personalities:

- Tatyana Vedeneeva;
- Lyudmila Gurchenko;
- Bogdan Titomir;
- Ksenia Sobchak.
His acquaintance with Alla Pugacheva had a significant influence on the artist’s solo career. During their collaboration, the Diva invited the stylist to try his hand at vocals. Sergei had long been offered to engage in musical creativity, but somehow he still did not have enough time, he constantly found excuses. But as soon as Alla Borisovna wanted it, Zverev immediately decided to try himself in a new role. The stylist himself says that his Muse has every right to such desires.
Sergei decided to perform one composition and that was all. He dedicated his first song “Alla” (2006) to Pugacheva. After this composition appeared on the radio charts, the performer received an offer to go on tour. Without PR or promotion, tickets to his concerts were sold out almost instantly.
After arriving in the first city, the aspiring performer was in for a surprise. At first everything went well, we met with the sound engineer. But before the concert there was an embarrassment. Zverev assumed that other artists would perform with him, but it turned out that he was the only performer.
The artist recalls:
“I thought the administrator was just joking. Maybe he didn’t know that I had only one song in my repertoire at that time. I told him about this. He was not at all confused and advised me to just sing it over and over again. And then hysterics happened to me. I swore and shouted that they were all crazy there. They even called an ambulance for me. There was no sense in this. People had already come to the concert and it was time for me to leave.”
The artist went on stage and sang the song once. Then he noticed that not all the spectators sitting in the hall knew the words of the composition. So he found a way to get out. He invited fans to learn the words and sing together. So he sang his song 15 times. Then he no longer had the strength or voice. The audience was delighted. So, with one hit, Sergei spent his first tour. After a high-profile debut, the artist recorded other songs and albums, solo and in duets with different performers.
The singer never studied singing. Alla Pugacheva advised him not to turn to teachers for help, saying that they would destroy his individuality, and he would become one of many pop artists. According to Sergei, the key to success is when you sing from the heart and every time you relive the plot of the composition.

The artist’s creative path is not limited only to music. Of all the variety of trends in art, he managed to try his hand at cinema and theater, reality shows and various projects. On the theater stage, Zverev took part in Lyudmila Gurchenko’s play “The Bureau of Happiness.”

The “king of glamor” had a similar idea much earlier, but his heavy workload did not allow it to be implemented. Sergei attends and organizes many charity events. The doll was created so that, in addition to helping, you could leave a souvenir as a keepsake.
Personal life
The artist’s personal life is very diverse and is invariably the subject of discussion in the media. It is known that Zverev was officially married four times. Each of the marriages lasted two and a half years.
He was in informal relationships with the following women:

At the moment, father and son do not maintain a relationship. The reason for this was the student’s reluctance to follow in his father’s footsteps and make a career in show business. In addition, the guy was married twice against the will of his parent. The famous father did not approve of his son’s chosen ones and therefore did not attend any wedding.
Appearance before plastic surgery
Sergei's appearance before the operation was not particularly outstanding or interesting. Yes, he could have made a career as a wonderful hairdresser, but the world of show business requires him to be bright and glamorous. Sergei Zverev in his youth looked quite ordinary without makeup. However, according to the stories of friends, he had serious charm and girls always liked him, even before his numerous reincarnations. His facial features were quite masculine, but after plastic surgery they became more feminine.
First steps to success
Sergei was born in a village in the Irkutsk region in the early 60s. His parents were simple hard workers - his father worked as an auto mechanic, and his mother as a meat processing plant technologist. The father died in a car accident when his son was only 6 years old. The boy grew up with his stepfather, they moved from the village to the Kazakh city of Ust-Kamenogorsk, then back, then again to Kazakhstan. There he graduated from school and studied at a local vocational school in three specialties: hairdresser, makeup specialist and clothing designer. In his first year of study, he already participated in various competitions and won them. Since childhood, Sergei was drawn to these professions - he was interested in new hairstyles and interesting makeup options, and he embodied all his skills in photographs in magazines.
Why did you decide to have plastic surgery?
The stylist became famous not only for his professional skills and outrageous behavior, but also for the number of plastic surgeries. He almost completely changed his appearance.
Initially, plastic surgery turned out to be a necessary measure for him. In 1995, a man was in an accident and his face was severely injured. According to the artist, his appearance was simply disfigured; his nose suffered the most. After treatment, the appearance became so unrecognizable that the stylist had to resort to cosmetics and apply makeup to hide the scars.
Then the artist decides to have his nose corrected. Then there were more interventions, as a result of which Zverev turned into a completely different person. These metamorphoses opened the doors to show business for him.
Military service
In 1980, Sergei was drafted into the ranks of the Soviet Army. He served in Poland in the air defense forces. In the army, Sergei replaced the platoon commander, and over time he was awarded the rank of senior sergeant. He was elected secretary of the Komsomol organization. To this day, he is proud that he fulfilled his civic duty. Recalling those years, Sergei notes the fact that caps and caps suited him very well, which he still adores. Looking at the photos of those years, we see a simple Russian boy with a simple and open face.
Plastic surgery
Sergei Zverev does not hide either the number of plastic surgeries he has undergone or his age. At 55 years old, the star still looks young and fresh. And this, undoubtedly, is a huge merit of both plastic surgery and various cosmetic procedures.
Rhinoplasty
The first operation to correct appearance was rhinoplasty. But the first result was unsuccessful, and the star began to have breathing problems. Face shape correction

Cheekbones
The singer’s cheekbones have also noticeably changed. Initially, the rounded face did not quite correspond to the image that Sergei was striving for. Thanks to the operations, the cheekbones became higher and more graceful. Zverev himself says that he achieved this effect by losing weight.
Lips
According to Sergei, now he has the ideal shape of his lips. It was not immediately possible for plastic surgeons to satisfy the stylist’s requests. There were also unsuccessful procedures, as a result of which the lips became too large, and uneven placement of the drug in the tissues led to asymmetry.
Repeated visits to plastic surgeons allowed us to achieve an ideal result. The smile has become more open, “Hollywood”, and the shape of the lips is clear and correct. The upper lip has become more raised and plump, perhaps this shape was specially created to harmonize with the upturned nose.
Anti-wrinkle injections
To stay forever young, the stylist resorts to cosmetic “injections of youth.” He regularly undergoes painful procedures from cosmetologists, but prefers not to advertise this fact. Thanks to her efforts, the star looks quite fresh for her age.
Personal life
Despite everything, Sergei has a stormy personal life. But none of the four marriages lasted longer than 2.5 years. Short-term civil relationships followed in succession, some lasted even less. From one of these meetings he left behind a son whose name is the same as the star’s – Sergei Zverev Jr. As a child, his father took him to all social events, then the boy grew up and he was no longer interested in such meetings. Now he is an adult and independent young man who lives his own life and works as a DJ. According to the famous stylist, his son's mother died in a car accident.
What does he think about all the operations performed?
The artist is absolutely not shy about the fact of numerous manipulations with his face. On the contrary, he says that if plastic surgery brings inner harmony to a person and helps overcome any complexes, this can only be beneficial.
As for the star's future plastic surgeries, there is no clear answer. However, according to Zverev himself, there is no limit to perfection and, quite possibly, in the future fans will see some more changes in his appearance. Be that as it may, it was plastic surgery that opened the way to the vast world of show business for the “king of glamor.” His opinion is: “I look like a firebird. Firebirds do not fly in flocks.”

Offers also poured in to participate in plays, to act in films, reality shows, and to try one’s hand at singing. His last creative activity was suggested to him by Alla Pugacheva, who was at that time a client of a popular stylist.
Having first sung three songs dedicated to the prima donna of our stage, a year later Sergei recorded an album of 22 songs called “A Star in Shock.” His list includes participation in 8 films, where he played small but memorable episodes. He even played in a play with Lyudmila Gurchenko called “Bureau of Happiness.”
To say that numerous plastic surgeries provoked him to achieve this success would not be entirely correct. Sergei is a workaholic and purposeful person, not without a sense of humor. His persistence and sociability led to the stunning success of a simple guy from the Russian outback.
