What is succinic acid used for?

The tablets are often prescribed to be taken as a dietary supplement. They are prescribed for functional asthenic conditions. Particularly effective during age-related ailments, as well as under extreme conditions.

Taking the drug allows you to fight excessive fatigue, stressful situations, improves memory and brain activity, and fights headaches. The supplement is taken for ischemia and vasospasm.

Experts advise taking the medicine in addition to the main treatment for pathologies of the cardiovascular system.

With all the diseases discussed above, many people are forced to take medications for a long time or throughout their lives that help maintain the functioning of the heart, nervous system, and brain function. The use of succinic acid makes it possible to significantly reduce the number of such medications and the duration of their use. The result is achieved thanks to pharmacology, since the drug is able to enhance the effect of drugs intended for primary treatment.

For good health

The substance has many beneficial properties, but it cannot be considered as the only way to treat diseases. Before using the substance, consult your doctor. Research shows that succinic acid:

  • suppresses bacterial activity;
  • improves digestion;
  • activates the function of the pancreas;
  • has antioxidant properties;
  • increases performance and concentration, is indicated for patients with traumatic brain injury, as it improves oxidative metabolism in brain cells;
  • accelerates the process of alcohol processing, so it can be used as a hangover remedy.

Doctors have studied Baltic amber beads used for teething in babies to determine their effectiveness as a pain reliever and disinfectant. The beads were crushed using infrared spectroscopy and dissolved in sulfuric acid to quantify succinic acid. Scientists have not found evidence that succinic acid can enter the body from beads through the skin and mucous membranes. Thus, jewelry and solid pieces of resin cannot have the same properties as the isolated substance.

How to take succinic acid for weight loss

Succinic acid has proven itself well for weight loss. The active substance removes all harmful substances from the body, starting the work of the stomach and intestines and promotes the release of excessively accumulated water.

According to nutritionists, tablets can only be taken as an auxiliary substance to activate the metabolic process. At the same time, you need to maintain proper nutrition and lead an active lifestyle, including physical activity. If you don’t follow these rules, the extra pounds won’t go away.

You need to drink 3 tablets per day for 3 days. Then take a 1-day break, when you also need to limit the amount of food consumed and physical activity, and then resume the three-day course.

Another option is to take 1 g of succinic acid every day for a month.

Cosmetic properties and benefits of the procedure

A distinctive feature of this process from other cleansing cosmetic procedures is the ability to stimulate tissue at the cellular level. Conventional types of peeling affect the surface layer of the epidermis without penetrating deeply into the skin.

The structure of natural resin is made up of tiny molecules. They are able to penetrate through the sebaceous and sweat ducts and through the membrane protection of cellular tissues.

Moreover, it not only smoothes out and removes inflammatory formations and rashes, but also has a therapeutic effect on the cause of their occurrence.

Women with dry skin are recommended to use amber facial peeling once a month. With normal skin, the number of sessions is reduced to once every 14 days. Owners of oily skin need to resort to a three-time procedure within 7 days to achieve a positive result.

Interactions with succinic acid should be excluded if:

  • violations of the integrity of the skin;
  • eye and blood pressure;
  • chronic inflammatory processes;
  • acute stages of herpes, open wounds;
  • allergies.

Pregnant and lactating women are not recommended to undergo the procedure without consulting a doctor.

What are the benefits and harms of succinic acid?

The most important property of the supplement is its ability to help the body cope with stressful situations and protect it from the negative effects of harmful microorganisms. This allows the medicine to be included in combination with other drugs to treat various diseases.

Also, taking the supplement has a positive effect on the condition of the skin, helps eliminate rashes, and removes swelling. Succinic acid is added to the composition of many cosmetic products. They can be purchased ready-made or prepared yourself. YAC is also used to make head masks that improve the condition of hair and accelerate its growth.

If you use pills thoughtlessly and in large quantities, it can harm the human body. The drug has contraindications that you should familiarize yourself with before taking it. Also, succinic acid should not be taken continuously for several days. Usually it is taken for no longer than 28 days (day breaks are allowed).

Types of cosmetic acids

Acid peeling is used to improve the appearance and condition of the skin, as well as improve skin tone. Cosmetic acids can be used for both dry and oily skin. When used correctly, the acid deeply moisturizes the skin, removes dead and damaged epidermal cells, stimulates cells in the deeper layers of the skin to restore the epidermis, making it smoother and the signs of aging less noticeable.

During acid treatment, the most commonly used acids are lactic, mandelic, citric and glycolic acids.

Acid peeling - before and after

Types of acids used in cosmetology:

  • Alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs).
    They have a moisturizing effect and stimulate the metabolism of skin cells. Treatments with fruit acids are recommended for dry, pale skin with acne. The group of alpha hydroxy acids includes: lactic, glycolic, citric, malic, tartaric and mandelic acids.
  • Beta hydroxy acids (BHA).
    They have moisturizing, exfoliating, anti-inflammatory, whitening and antioxidant properties. They are recommended for pale skin with acne and signs of aging. At higher concentrations, these acids are irritating and may cause sensitization. The most commonly used BHA is Salicylic Acid.
  • Polyhydroxy acids (PHAs).
    They have a moisturizing, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effect. They are gentler than alpha hydroxy acids and non-irritating, making them suitable for tired, sensitive skin with discoloration and signs of aging. Examples of polyhydroxy acids are gluconolactone and lactobionic acid.

Peeling with amber and gluconic acid

The action of the duo is aimed at moisturizing and smoothing the skin for those who are intolerant to essential oils and fruit acids. Glucone-amber peeling has a gentle effect on skin with vascular “mesh”, as well as on dry and sensitive skin. Penetrating into the stratum corneum, acids accumulate there and nourish the cells from the inside for a long time.

Reviews from many women show that glucone-amber peeling provides invaluable assistance on the eve of important events, when there is a need to act quickly and clearly. Well prepares the skin for sunbathing. And vice versa, it renews the skin after aggressive exposure to ultraviolet radiation.
